Simply the best audio

L-Acoustics® has been revolutionising the professional audio industry since 1984, with legendary line source systems and a developing reputation for creating innovative solutions for demanding sound reinforcement requirements. Committed to designing and manufacturing high quality and predictable sound systems, L-Acoustics® produce complete packages that adhere to universal standards with lasting longevity.

We’re very happy to announce the arrival of our K2/K1sub and SB28 system. We now have the full armoury of products to enable us to do large arena shows with ease. Its first outing was for the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall, a very fitting venue for an amazing sounding system. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more.

K2 offers the same pristine, powerful sonic signature as K1 – in a lighter, more compact format and with 10° inter-element angles for maximum versatility. K2 can be deployed as a complement to K1 or as a standalone system for events or installations with audiences of up to 20,000, without sacrificing power. Lightest in its class, K2 can be flown even under the most stringent rigging limitations. And with the exclusive L-Acoustics Panflex adjustable horizontal directivity, K2 focuses sound coverage on the audience only, handily addressing the most challenging acoustic environments or noise pollution issues for outdoor events. With integrated rigging compatible with K1 and the entire K System, technicians the world over seek out K2 for its lightning fast set up.

KARA – Modular WST® Line Source

The KARA modular line source element has an operating frequency bandwidth from 55 Hz to 20 kHz. This responsecan be lowered down to 32 Hz with the addition of the SB18 low frequency extension. KARA features a 2-way, bi-amplified design and is equipped with 2 x 8″ neodymium LF speakers in a bass-reflex tuned enclosure. The HF section features a 3″ neodymium diaphragm driver coupled to a DOSC® waveguide. The K-shaped coplanar transducer configuration generates a symmetric horizontal coverage of 110° without secondary lobes over the entire frequency range. The combination of coplanar symmetry and DOSC® waveguide allows the system to fulfill the 5WST® criteria. Any KARA line source can be curved up to a maximum of 10˚ for each element without breaking the inter-element acoustic coupling.

The ARCS® FOCUS systems are based on a constant curvature enclosures ensuring a distinct directivity pattern and SPL capabilities. Intended for medium-throw applications in rental productions and fixed installations, these line sources deliver remarkable acoustic propertiesand unmatched versatility for applications including FOH L/R systems, central clusters, side-fill monitors, distributed systems and complementary fills.

  • ARCS® FOCUS (H x V: 15° x 90°) element, focusedenergy, operating from 55 Hz to 20 kHz; • SB18m low frequency extension, operating down to 32 Hz

The ARCS® FOCUS line source provide high SPL with perfect acoustic coupling, a solid LF performance and constant tonal balance over distance. It can be deployed either as ahorizontal array or as a vertical array. In the coupling plane, the ARCS® FOCUS yield a razor-sharp directivity pattern, particularly valuable to sector audience fields while avoiding reflective surfaces. In the other plane, both systems provide a 90° smooth symmetric directivity pattern.

Kiva II is a new ultra-compact modular line source, adding 6dB of max SPL versus its predecessor, maximized amplifier density with 16 ohm impedance, and a new sturdy cabinet. Despite its ultra-compact format, the Kiva II features L-Acoustics’ Wavefront Sculpture Technology™ (WST), giving it a long throw capability and delivering even SPL from the front row to the back of the audience. Its coplanar transducer arrangement and new K front grill generate a symmetric horizontal coverage of 100 degrees without secondary lobes over the entire frequency range. Weighing only 31 pounds (14 kg), the product’s elegant lines and flush-fitted rigging allow it to melt into any architecture, making it a natural fit for installations in Performing Arts Centers and special events demanding minimum visual obtrusion, and particularly in L-ISA™ multi-channel configuration installations.

The 2-way passive Syva, with six 5” and three 1.75” transducers punches out an impressive 137dB max SPL with a horizontal distribution of 140°. Paired with the Syva Low, with it’s dual 12” bass reflex set-up delivering 137dB max SPL, the system covers a frequency range of 40Hz to 20kHz seamlessly.

The flexible rigging system allows for the Syva to be stacked on the Syva Low, flown from truss or simply located on a stand, covering all eventualities for the venue and event and is perfect for live bands, DJ systems and the dancefloors of the corporate world.

We stock the following range of L’acoustic coaxial speakers. X8 is the ideal small monitor, with the capacity to accurately translate the sonic signature of a large sound system at FOH or in control rooms. The X8 boasts high SPL and extended LF resources in a compact format carrying the pristine L-Acoustics sonic signature. Whether using X8 as a monitor, or as an integral part of a larger PA system, the X8 will be appreciated for its power, broad bandwidth and immaculate sound. The X12 is a jack of all trades, taking on any short throw sound duty imaginable.

The X12 can be flown or mounted for multi-channel, distributed or fill applications but is powerful and rugged enough to be deployed as a stage monitor. Its ellipsoid directivity of 90° x 60° gives optimal coverage for a multitude of situations. The X12’s passive design gives it maximum efficiency, reducing the need for amplified controllers. At only 20 kgs the X12 is easy to rig or mount in any situation. Integrated risers allow for a 35° or 55° angle on stage, and a wide range of rigging accessories offers infinite install possibilities.

Still sounding great are the 12XT’s. They are an active or passive cabinet and has an operating frequency bandwidth of 55 Hz to 20 kHz. The enclosure contains a 3’’ diaphragm compression driver coaxially loaded by a 12’’ low frequency transducer mounted in a bass-reflex tuned enclosure.

The 115XT HiQ is designed for stage monitor. It operates as an active 2-way enclosure, over a frequency bandwidth from 50 Hz to 20 kHz. The enclosure contains a 3’’ diaphragm compression driver with a 15’’ low frequency transducer and produces a 50° axi-symmetric pattern.
