Yamaha Pro Audio
The Originators of Digital Audio
For many years Yamaha have been at the forefront of digital mixing
Their reliability is the mainstay of all Yamaha desks. They have gone out for us on thousands of shows virtually fault free. In todays technical, ever changing world, it is no mean feat to achieve this. We have a very good relationship with the UK R&D department at Yamaha and are lucky enough to be consulted with regard to future innovations and products.
Yamaha QL5 & Rio Stage BoxesWe're very happy to add the Yamaha QL5 & QL1 mixing consoles together with the Rio 3224D and Rio 1608D Dante Racks to our hire stock.
The acclaimed CL series raised live digital mixing console performance to an unprecedented level of refinement with evolved sound quality, operability, and functionality, while maintaining the traditional values that have made Yamaha digital mixers industry standards. Core features and performance inherited directly from the CL series, including natural sound supported by sonically superb internal processing capabilities, operation that easily adapts to the demands of just about any working environment, and built-in Dante networking that facilitates flexible system configuration, have now been condensed and concentrated into the compact QL series digital mixing consoles.
R Series I/O racks employ Dante network audio protocol for exceptional flexibility and freedom in setup and placement. They also allow redundancy for the utmost reliability in any application. We keep in stock the Rio3224D which has 32 Mic ins and 24 Line Outs and the Rio1608D which has 16 ins and 8 outs.
Yamaha PM5D-RHSince its release in 2004 the PM5D has become a standard for digital live mixing, and the first choice of legions of discerning engineers and sound companies throughout the world. Why? Simply because it offers extraordinary sound and versatility in a relatively small, lightweight system that is intuitive to use and delivers unmatched sound, control, and reliably without the need for additional outboard processing gear. Of course programmability and recall capability are of monumental importance in today's live sound scene as well. It's no exaggeration to state that the PM5D Digital Mixing Console took the digital revolution to a new level. What's more, it offers a system solution that can enhance the entire sound production process from input to output through seamless integration with digital systems including Yamaha's DME series digital mixing engines and AD8HR 8-channel A/D converters with remote controllable preamps. But for applications that require serious I/O capacity there's the PM5D-EX: a PM5D console plus a DSP5D Digital Mixing System that gives you the I/O and processing capacity of two PM5D consoles controlled from a single control surface, plus the added advantages of digital cabling over long distances when necessary. There's virtually no limit to the possible configurations and applications, thanks to open architecture with the flexibility and expandability you need to handle just about any live sound and recording application.
Yamaha M7CLThe M7CL series is a digital live-sound console that carries on the digital evolution from the acclaimed PM1DV2 and PM5D consoles. It includes an impressive array of advanced concepts such as the "Centralogic™" control interface that makes it as easy and intuitive to use as an analog console, and in-depth access management facilities that will be particularly appreciated in installations. The M7CL is familiar and comfortable to use, offering a level of convenience that overturns the preconception that "digital is difficult". A surprising range of functions that you would normally have to supply in the form of peripheral equipment is built in, and all of this is provided in a space that is dramatically less than an analog console of similar scope. The M7CL is the ideal digital mixing console for medium size live sound applications that have previously been handled by analog gear.
LS9-16The LS9 series consoles follow in the distinguished footsteps of the Yamaha PM1D, PM5D, and M7CL, expanding Yamaha's digital mixing console lineup for live sound and installations. The LS9 series consists of the 32-mic/line input 64-channel LS9-32, and the 16-mic/line input 32 channel LS9-16. While being compact and light enough for one person to move and set up easily, both models include features that have been field-proven in previous Yamaha digital consoles as well as outstanding sonic quality. In addition to an extensive range of gating, compression, and equalization capabilities, there's also a built-in USB memory recorder/player for recording or BGM playback, and other functionality that give you everything you need for small to medium scale live sound or installed applications in remarkably compact, all-in-one consoles.
Yamaha PM1D Digital Mix SystemThe PM1D Digital Mixing System was the first to take the acclaimed Yamaha PM-series live sound consoles into the fully digital domain. It features separate control surface, processing units, and input/output units that are modular and networkable. The PM1D offers digital flexibility and controllability along with enormous input/output capacity and data storage recall capability. Featuring digital audio technology shared with Yamaha's world-standard digital recording consoles, the PM1D delivers the equivalent of 28-bit linear AD processing and 27-bit linear DA processing for an extraordinary dynamic range in excess of 120 dB as well as outstanding overall sound quality. And since each section of the "mixing system" is provided in the form ofcompact modules, it offers unprecedented space utility and mobility. The PM1D has ushered in, and continues to lead, a new era of mixing performance and quality for concert tours, large halls, and broadcast applications.
