L'Acoustics

Simply The Best Audio

We're very happy to announce the arrival of our K2/K1sub and SB28 system. We now have the full armoury of products to enable us to do large arena shows with ease. It;s first outing was for the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall a very fiitting venue for an amazing sounding system. Please get in contact if you'd like to know more.

Since 1984, L-Acoustics® has revolutionized the professional audio industry with its legendary line source systems, developing a reputation for creating innovative solutions for the most demanding sound reinforcement requirements.
L-Acoustics® is committed to designing and manufacturing sound systems with the highest, most consistent and predictable performance levels, packaged as complete systems and adhering to universal standards.
All systems are innovatively created with exceptional longevity, representing the best possible investment. Our dedication to technical support, user education and sound design, all contribute to making
L-Acoustics® not only a loudspeaker manufacturer but a partner dedicated to supporting its customers.

K2, K1Sub & SB28
K2 offers the same pristine, powerful sonic signature as K1 - in a lighter, more compact format and with 10° inter-element angles for maximum versatility. K2 can be deployed as a complement to K1 or as a standalone system for events or installations with audiences of up to 20,000, without sacrificing power

Lightest in its class, K2 can be flown even under the most stringent rigging limitations. And with the exclusive L-Acoustics Panflex adjustable horizontal directivity, K2 focuses sound coverage on the audience only, handily addressing the most challenging acoustic environments or noise pollution issues for outdoor events.

With integrated rigging compatible with K1 and the entire K System, technicians the world over seek out K2 for its lightning fast set up.

Kara & SB18
KARA - Modular WST® Line Source

The KARA modular line source element has an operating frequency bandwidth from 55 Hz to 20 kHz. This responsecan be lowered down to 32 Hz with the addition of the SB18 low frequency extension.
KARA features a 2-way, bi-amplified design and is equipped with 2 x 8" neodymium LF speakers in a bass-reflex tuned enclosure. The HF section features a 3" neodymium diaphragm driver coupled to a DOSC® waveguide.
The K-shaped coplanar transducer configuration generates a symmetric horizontal coverage of 110° without secondary lobes over the entire frequency range. The combination of coplanar symmetry and DOSC® waveguide allows the system to fulfill the 5WST® criteria. Any KARA line source can be curved up to a maximum of 10˚ for each element without breaking the inter-element acoustic coupling.

Arc Focus
The ARCS® FOCUS systems are based on a constant curvature enclosures ensuring a distinct directivity pattern and SPL capabilities. Intended for medium-throw applications in rental productions and fixed installations, these line sources deliver remarkable acoustic propertiesand unmatched versatility for applications including FOH L/R systems, central clusters, side-fill monitors, distributed systems and complementary fills.

• ARCS® FOCUS (H x V: 15° x 90°) element, focusedenergy, operating from 55 Hz to 20 kHz; • SB18m low frequency extension, operating down to 32 Hz

The ARCS® FOCUS line source provide high SPL with perfect acoustic coupling, a solid LF performance and constant tonal balance over distance. It can be deployed either as ahorizontal array or as a vertical array.
In the coupling plane, the ARCS® FOCUS yield a razor-sharp directivity pattern, particularly valuable to sector audience fields while avoiding reflective surfaces. In the other plane, both systems provide a 90° smooth symmetric directivity pattern.

Kiva
KIVA - Modular WST Line Source

The KIVA Modular Line Source element has an operating frequency bandwidth from 80 Hz to 20 kHz and this response can be lowered downto 50 Hz with the addition of the KILO low frequency extension cabinet.
KIVA features two 6.5'' drivers in a bass-reflex tuned enclosure and a 1.5'' diaphragm compression driver coupled to a DOSC® waveguide for HF reproduction. The passive crossover network uses 2nd order filters with built-in phase compensation.

TheV-shaped coplanar transducer configuration generates a symmetric horizontal coverage of 100° without secondary lobes over the entire frequency range.

12XT & 115XT HiQ Monitor Wedges

The 12XT active/passive cabinet is the mid sized model of the L-ACOUSTICS® XT coaxial series and has an operating frequency bandwidth of 55 Hz to 20 kHz.The 12XT enclosure contains a 3'' diaphragm compression driver coaxially loaded by a 12'' low frequency transducer mounted in a bass-reflex tuned enclosure. The coaxial transducer arrangement produces a 90° axi-symmetric directivity output along with asmooth tonal response free of any secondary lobes over the entire frequency range.

The 115XT HiQ is the high-end model within the L-ACOUSTICS® XTcoaxial series, designed for stage monitors. It operates as an active 2-way enclosure, over a frequencybandwidth from 50 Hz to 20kHz. It contains a 3'' compression driver loaded onto a constant directivity conical waveguide united in a coaxial configuration with a 15'' low frequency transducer. This coaxial transducer arrangement produces a 50° axi-symmetric directivity output along with a smooth tonal response free of anysecondary lobes over the entire frequency range, resulting in exceptional immunity to feedback especially in monitoring situations.
